đź“– The Story

FarFarAway is a five-piece unit from the Twin Cities built on all-original music, delivering the high energy and raw sounds of your favorite 90s/2000s mixtapes. We’re not doing covers—we’re creating the new anthems you’ll want on repeat.

What do we sound like? Melodic guitars, driving bass, and vocals that punch you right in the nostalgia. We focus on creating a sound that connects with anyone who misses the glory days of skate punk and emo but still loves fresh Pop-Punk and Rock.

We are a live band, period. In our first year (2025), we crushed 20 successful shows across the area, and we bring non-stop energy every time. Our stage presence is all about connecting with the crowd. Seriously, bring extra socks—we’re gonna blow the ones you’re wearing off! We’re currently in the studio Recording our debut album, which is set to drop in May 2026.

🎧 Tech Stuff (The Sound Nerd Notes)

We use an In-Ear Monitor system (IEM) with an XLR splitter and a 15′ snake. Basically, we bring a lot of our own equipment to make sure we hear everything perfectly. We mic up all our gear and vocals for our in-ears, and our system is designed to split the house mic signals on stage. This lets us use the venue’s existing mics when possible, and we bring our own to fill any gaps. It makes setup and sound check fast and smooth!
